The Carmacks Visitor Information Centre is your gateway to exploring the natural beauty, rich history, and vibrant culture of our riverfront community. Conveniently located along the scenic Klondike Highway, the Centre offers a warm welcome and a wealth of resources for travelers, including maps, brochures, and expert local insights to help you make the most of your journey.
Visitors can discover the area's fascinating history, from its deep connection to the Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation to its key role in the Klondike Gold Rush. Be sure to explore the Tagé Cho Hudän Interpretive Centre, where the past comes to life through engaging exhibits and storytelling.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always happy to provide recommendations on hiking and scenic trails, cultural sites, local attractions, and upcoming events. Whether you're looking for adventure, relaxation, or cultural enrichment, there's something here for everyone.
The Centre is open 7 days a week during the warmer months, with the following hours:

Monday to Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday to Sunday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
