Mayor & Council
The Village of Carmacks Council is the legislative body whose function is to govern
and serve as the Village's municipal government. Council is responsible for establishing corporate policy and setting the strategic priorities for Village staff on an annual basis.
The Council is comprised of a Mayor and four Councillors, who are elected by the citizens of Carmacks every three years. The Mayor is the chief elected official of the municipality and has duties of both Councillor and Chief Elected Official.
Council meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, unless otherwise notified, please refer below to the current exceptions.
