Municipal Servicing Review for Higher Density Development

The main townsite of Carmacks is serviced by a sanitary sewer system and Wastewater Treatment Plant. There is no piped water system and properties in the townsite are serviced by individual wells; Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation (LSCFN) operates a Water Treatment Plant in the LSCFN Village and delivers water. This HAF initiative sought to better understand the municipal servicing implications of increasing residential density in the main townsite area.
