Community Notice: Village of Carmacks FireSmart Program

The Village of Carmacks is excited to announce the launch of our FireSmart program aimed at helping residents prepare their properties for potential wildfire activity this season. By following the FireSmart initiatives detailed in the FireSmart Home Owner's Manual, you can significantly reduce the risk of wildfires affecting your home and community.

FireSmart Property Contest

To encourage community participation, we are holding a FireSmart Property Contest. Residents who implement the FireSmart initiatives on their properties will be eligible to enter a draw for the following prizes:

First Prize: $500 Gift Card

Second Prize: $250 Gift Card

Third Prize: $125 Gift Card

Emergency Preparedness Townhall In addition, we will be hosting an Emergency Preparedness Townhall to discuss FireSmart initiatives communication methods during emergency events, evacuation plans and potential, gather community feedback, and provide further information.
