Carmacks, Yukon – September 2024:
The Village of Carmacks is excited to announce the release of our much-anticipated Seasonal Recreation Guide for the upcoming Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons. This comprehensive guide will be available for pick-up starting September 25th at the Carmacks Post Office, Village Office, Carmacks Recreation Complex, and the Carmacks Regional Solid Waste Management Facility.
The Seasonal Recreation Guide is your gateway to an exciting array of recreation programs, services, and events running from September 2024 through April 2025. Whether you are looking for activities for all ages, from youth to seniors, or special community events like the Halloween Festivities, Christmas Bazaar, and Spring Awakening Bazaar, this guide has something for everyone.
“We are incredibly proud of the solid work put into this year’s Recreation Guide,” says Matthew Cybulski, Chief Administrative Officer of the Village of Carmacks. “Our Recreation Director, Chanel Johnnie, Recreation Services team and community user groups have once again come together to create a diverse and inclusive set of programs that truly reflect the spirit and energy of our community. Their dedication and creativity are evident in every page, and I encourage everyone to explore what’s on offer.”
In addition to highlighting various programs, the guide also provides details on memberships including 24-Hour Fitness Center access, drop-in schedules, special events, and other important information to help residents and visitors alike make the most of our community’s recreational offerings.
