Village of Carmacks Pool Revitalization Community Notice – June 27th, 2024

We are pleased to announce that the VoC administration team, along with Mayor & Council, has secured $275,000 in CCBF funding supported by the Yukon Government Infrastructure Development Branch (IDB).

 

This funding will initiate the process of resuming operations of the VoC Aquatic Center during the summer of 2024.

 

Project Timeline:

• Contract Tender & Review: Week of July 2nd to 5th

• Tender Awarding and Project Groundbreaking: Week of July 8th

• Construction Project Timeline: 4-6 weeks

• Staff On-boarding and Training (Lifeguards & Pool Attendants): Month of July

• Service Agreement Collaborations with our Friends & Partners at LSCFN: Ongoing

• Targeted Reopening Date: August 2024
