Village of Carmacks - Road Maintenance Schedule (Spring to Fall 2024)

Dear Residents,

As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure safe and efficient transportation infrastructure within our community, the Village of Carmacks is pleased to announce the Road Maintenance Schedule for Spring to Fall 2024. Please note the following maintenance activities and associated timelines:

Sanitary Sewer Upgrades:

• Sanitary Sewer Upgrades – Klaza Rd – April 8^th to May 6^th (Expect Road Disruptions – Local Traffic Only)
• Sanitary Sewer Upgrades – River Dr (Fire Hall) – April 8^th to May 6^th (Single Lane Closure)

1.  Road Grading:
• Scheduled Period: May 1st to October 1^st
• Description: Grading of gravel roads to improve surface quality and reduce unevenness.
2. Pothole Repair:
• Scheduled Period: May 1st to October 1^st
• Description: Filling and repair of potholes to enhance road safety and driving comfort.
3. Cold Patch Treatment:
• Scheduled Period: May 1st to October 1^st
• Description: Application of cold patch treatment measures to minimize hazards on municipal roads.
4. Vegetation Management:
• Scheduled Period: August 1st to October 1^st
• Description: Trimming and removal of vegetation along roadways to maintain visibility and safety for motorists.

Please note that schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances. We kindly ask for your patience and cooperation during these maintenance activities.
