The Village does not provide garbage pickup, although both the First Nation and Yukon Housing collect from their residents.
The municipality operates a landfill site at the south entrance to town, compacting and covering household solid wastes.
The Landfill is open from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Note: They close for holidays and special collection days at the Landfill such as Household Hazardous Waste Collection.
